Tom started working with computers when he was eight years old and his father plunked him down in front of one and said, “You need to learn how to program on this. This is the future.” He has been programming professionally for the past 18 years for various companies, both as an employee and an independent contractor. For the last 15 years, he has been heavily involved in website development. Tom has built sites and applications for companies such as Boise Inc., Kaplan Educational, Janssen Pharmeceutica (Johnson & Johnson), Schering-Plough, Avnet and Western States CAT. He understands how to connect disparate systems to make an application or website work. His varied work experience has afforded him the opportunity to utilize a broad range of technologies and platforms.
When Tom is not computing you can find him playing acoustic bass for various local bands.
