Boise is a city on the move and popping up on nationwide Top 10 lists every month it seems. Getting it here has taken the work of countless hands across public and private sectors. For nearly 10 years, the City has looked to SOVRN to help order to capitalize on new opportunities, engage citizens and attract prospective newcomers. When our peers there turned to us for help branding Boise’s growing economic development efforts, we were all in.
This effort produced great work because across numerous online and offline efforts for departments including the Mayor’s Office, the City of Boise staff and SOVRN team members have built rapport, trust and results. For Boise Competes specifically, we offered insights into audiences and their concerns that resulted in online and other brand experiences that inform, influence and create value for the City and its diverse programs and initiatives.
By all accounts, this work has raised the bar for the clarity, impact and quality of public engagement because we were able to catalyze and empower our peers to deliver on their best ideas and embrace new ones we brought to them from our vast private sector experience.
