Gem is a growing charter school management organization (CMO) with a mission of changing the way elementary education works in Idaho. Gem leaders came to SOVRN as a preparatory step before rolling out the brand to new markets. They were looking to efficiently strengthen their core brand and establish an adaptive brand architecture that would support future growth. Gem selected SOVRN for our expertise in the branding and marketing of innovative educational solutions. The work we delivered will simplify the expansion of new charter schools under its brand.
Much like Gem’s blended learning model that focuses on technology integration and individualized learning, the communications architecture SOVRN developed for Gem has both structured and customizable components. Working closely with Gem leaders to define the criteria for success, we focused on simplicity and ease of use so that the organization could effectively apply all new brand elements with minimal ongoing support from SOVRN. Through management of distinct color families SOVRN ensured the structure of the deliverables could support unlimited growth of individual schools under the Gem brand. Deliverables including presentation tools, marketing assets and community outreach materials brought consistency and scale to the brand, helping Gem better represent its professionalism and experience in all scenarios.
