SOVRN was hired by the J.R. Simplot Co. to produce their latest branding campaign that would highlight both their technological achievements and commitment to advancing modern agriculture, both here in the U.S. and in developing nations around the world.
Simplot charged us with developing an image advertising campaign that would educate the public with regards to the huge impact that modern agriculture has on their lives and the lives of people all around the world, while highlighting their own contributions.
We created a campaign called “The Magic of Agriculture” that featured Simplot’s global efforts to increase food production, especially in developing nations. For a large, multinational corporation, Simplot very much flies under the radar because, in the U.S., they have a low retail brand presence. This was an opportunity to really tell their story – one that most people hadn’t heard, even in Idaho. In the end, we created a series of four advertisements with a supporting corporate overview video.
