Ranked by population density, Idaho has one of the sparsest populations in the United States. With such a large rural population, St. Luke’s sought to improve healthcare access for all patients, including those living outside of the state’s most urban areas. Patients throughout Idaho can access physicians for appointments without leaving their homes through the Virtual Care Center. St. Luke’s wanted remote patients to have the same quality experience they would at a physical hospital, prioritizing privacy and technology. We were asked to help brand the Virtual Care Center space, making it feel like St. Luke’s in addition to promoting the grand opening through video.
The Virtual Care Center needed to look and feel like St. Luke’s to provide a seamless experience for providers transitioning between traditional hospital rooms and virtual stations. It also serves as a continued reminder of St. Lukes’ promise of accessible healthcare, allowing providers to remember the human touch behind their service even as they see patients through a screen. A quick turnaround on environmental graphics from concept to production to meet the facility opening deadline presented its own challenge, not to mention that filming needed to happen before the facility opened to be prepared to present the facility to the public. However, construction on the space wasn’t complete until mere days before grand opening. The video also needed to be educational, so patients knew how Virtual Care Center improved their experience, while also showcasing the beautiful and modern space.
The internal marketing team worked closely with our team every step of the way to ensure that no time was wasted in designing modern graphics for the space. The result didn’t just feel like St. Luke’s, it celebrated it. The modern approach in layout and graphics helped it feel as clean and advanced as the concept itself. It gives the impression of progressiveness, helping patients feel like they have big-city care even in their small-town setting. Agility in the video process allowed us to make adjustments in real-time, capturing shots of the facility and its capabilities even as construction wrapped up. The final result conveyed information about what the Virtual Care Center even as it showed off the beautiful space.
