In an effort to bolster student recruitment, Carroll College engaged SOVRN to raise brand awareness and assert their profile as the number one value in the west among private educational institutions. To help accomplish this, we knew we needed to focus their messaging and bolster the overall brand. We dug in with research and student data to understand the competive landscape and inform Carroll’s brand position. With this knowlege and a solid creative direction, the SOVRN team began building core print and digital outreach pieces. This included a new “view book” brochure and other direct mail materials, as well as pocket versions to be taken to road shows by the school’s admission counselors. We also designed materials specifically for recruitment events, including displays and collateral to help inform students on scholarships and navigate the school’s financial aid system. Finally, we produced video content to help promote the college on television, as well as on their social media platforms. This project was recoginzed and presented with a Gold Rockie Award by the Boise Advertising Federation.
