The Treasure Valley Family YMCA (The Y) is a Boise non-profit organization that has served the community for over 130 years—playing a vital role in cultivating youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. In order to grow with the City of Boise, The Y is engaging in a Capital Campaign to rebuild and revitalize its Downtown Boise facility.
The Y partnered with SOVRN to produce a capital campaign fundraising video and four member impact stories.
The capital campaign video focuses on connecting the need for a new facility and showing where The Y is headed with the new downtown effort, its longevity, and the need that it fills. Key staff drive the narration, and a mix of board members and community leaders provide context to the story.
SOVRN also captured stories of the impact The Y has had on members of the community. We pre-interviewed members and staff to identify the most powerful stories and begin planning the visuals. The four stories we told showed the breadth of YMCA programs and engagements that can help just about anyone connect with The Y.
